Data controller
The controller of your data is Yohann Herbet, sole trader, reachable at contact@yohannherbet.com. Full details are in the legal notice.
What data and why
This is a simple informational website. It has no forms and sets no advertising cookie or tracker. Only the following data is processed:
- The information you send me on your own initiative if you contact me by email (your name, your email address, the content of your message), used only to answer your request and talk with you.
- Technical connection data (IP address, server logs) kept by the host Cloudflare, for the security and proper functioning of the site.
Legal basis and retention
Processing your messages is based on your own initiative and on my legitimate interest in answering them. Your messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and the relationship that follows, then archived or deleted.
Recipients
Your data is neither sold nor shared. It is processed only by Yohann Herbet, and where applicable by the technical providers strictly necessary to run the site (hosting, email).
Transfers outside the European Union
The host Cloudflare is a US company. Technical connection data may therefore be processed outside the European Union. These transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, namely the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site sets no advertising cookie and no audience-measurement tracker subject to consent. Only cookies strictly necessary for the security and proper functioning of the site (set by the host) may be used, which are exempt from consent. No consent banner is therefore required. If cookieless audience measurement is added later, it will be mentioned here.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@yohannherbet.com. You may also give instructions on what happens to your data after your death. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
This English version is provided for convenience. The French version (Politique de confidentialité) is the legally binding one.
